Emptyhead Digital was founded by Matt Edwards in 2008, and we've spent the years since building websites for the arts: major musicals, touring productions, orchestras, festivals, and the not-for-profits doing quiet, important work in between.
Most of our clients are artists, producers and arts administrators. They're brilliant at what they do, and what they do is rarely websites. So a big part of our job is translation. We turn digital jargon into plain English, big scary projects into manageable steps, and good shows into things the world can find, love and buy tickets to.
Alongside direct client work, we partner with strategy and marketing agencies as their embedded development team: design, builds, email and campaign assets that slot into bigger campaigns without fuss. Whether you're a grassroots company or a national brand, the approach is the same. Listen properly, build carefully, stick around.
